Thanks for the spelling lesson.
I forgot that Brits refer to July 4th as Thanksgiving. I'll try harder in future. Someone please tell me what "compo it" means. I haven't been posting here very long. Thanx!

don't refer to the 4th July as anything at all. it has no significance outside of America.
We don't need a turkey and a special day to give thanks. We have proper pubs and are thankful for that daily.

"Compo it" means, editing the message and changing the drop-down menu which by default states "a normal post" to that of a relevant competition.

It's a spoof of the America's threat level scale thing
So 'flavor' would be the correct spelling in this case
