FWIW, "Fear" is perhaps the only half-decent piece of literature the man ever wrote. Dianetics doesn't even work as fiction.

You know he had to be on some very potent and possibly lethal chemicals most of his life, to have gone in twenty-five years from "Fear" to "Battlefield Earth".
