i couldn't eat a member of any species....that i've kept as a pet.
this does of course mean i'll never have a pet cow or chicken, for example, but i don't really think that's much of a limitation.
also, i do think this sounds plausible - at least, the telling tourists part. they do all sorts, them foreign types!

It's really not worth it.Greasy wee eatings guinea pigs are. Plus chickens and cows aren't cute (except for when babbies), so there's no shame associated during the eating process...
