# the first album was good, but raw
now the second, apart from the annoying intro and outro songs, is produced with depth and care.
I think they've matured as well as can be expected, and in a couple of years they'll be U2.

Also he can sing live.

# raw is good when it comes to music
nirvana were raw, the killers are trying too hard to be mainstream

# you loon
well, ok, Bleach was a bit raw. But other than that every note was produced to perfection.

# i don't know.
i really liked the raw-ness of the 1st album, that's part of what drew me to like them, then the second wasn't as good, but it was nice. Not raw enough, though. I saw them on SNL one noght, and he was okay, but he didn't sound amazing. And also, i dislike his silly moustache.

# you should have seen him with a beard
but since when did looks make any difference to music?

# heh heh
they don't make any difference to the music, but they do make a difference to who listens to it :)

# i hope you mean "raw"
as in "ignorant"
because the production on the first album was nearly as wanky and unnecessary as the 2nd

# I treasure your in depth opinion on this matter

# *confused*
edit: okay, i just think brandon is a cunt. i do not think that he is talented in any way.

any time i have seen/read him interviewed he has come across as an massive bawbag. if you want to listen to a talented singer with a backing of session artists then listen to garbage.

if not... LISTEN TO REAL BANDS :p

# I suggest if you cite Garbage
then you should listen to Goodbye Mr McKenzie
