no-one uses that word in Norfolk, at least not for anything other than 2p. I only heard referring to minge for the first time when I moved up Doncaster way.

I can't sing for toffee, but myself and my best mate were more than a little intoxicated and decided to find out if we could sing all the lyrics first time.

We did, of course, mess it up. But it still makes me laugh at exactly how bad one can sound when throwing your heart into something ;)
