(, Thu 15 Nov 2001, 7:01, archived)
# eeek!
i knew that's what all the radio people looked like. i fucking knew it. that's why they only broadcast their voices and stay locked away in dungeons all their lives.

# He sounds like a cross between
Chris Moyles and Timmy Mallet.
But it's better than getting woken up by the high pitched buzzer noise as an alternative to radio.

# or worse still
the reversing lorry, although my one is a special one with the 'Warning, Securicor Vehicle is Reversing' bloke saying 'Wake up you bastard'.
Special.

# Mallett
is on tour nowadays - permanently. Apparently he does all the universities and Wacaday is more popular than ever.

How do I know this? He sent Cuttie Williams an autographed pic. True. ANd a wacaplaster or whatever they were called.

Ahh Cuttie, how I love to assume your identity.

# I don't think I ever really watched Wacaday
either it was on too early or I was watching Gilbert on Number 73. Far too long ago.

# So
you never looked at the audience at home and went 'blearrrrgh'

Anyone remember GHOSTS MONSTERS AND LEGENDS from Wide Awake Club!? quality

# i remember the
story of 'the hairy hand'. Scared me for weeks it did, since it featured Tommy wearing a sinister glove.

# is that the chap you were singing to?
on radio yesterday?
(, Thu 15 Nov 2001, 7:12, archived)
# yes...I wasn't singing though
I was doing impressions of a non electric carpet cleaner.
I've emailed him a few portraits, I'm sure he'll be impressed.
And I'm still waiting for a reply from the Changing Rooms team after I sent them my Laurence pictures

# Brill
Have you ever seen those little hand held carpet sweeper things in Indian Resturants that they deploy to sweep up all the curry carnage? They rule. I always think that they must be something to do with teh manufacture of Bombay mix.

# you're on about
bissell carpet sweepers. My nan had one.
I'll now go and lie down.
(, Thu 15 Nov 2001, 7:50, archived)
# Yes that sort of thing
But these were actually handheld for table use, not a matey with a handle.

# I don't think I've ever seen one of those
