but you'll have to copy it from your hard drive as a complete file with the registry keys et all, then it will run from just the exe from the burnt disc, it was what i used for ages

What good are the registry keys
if you're running it from a CD?
It's been a long time since I used Windows, but isn't the ability to add crap to the registry likely to be something that's restricted?

it thinks it has been installed or summat, i learnt from google 3 years ago how to do it, at work i could not change the registry so could install nowt

If you can, log on as the local administrator.
If that fails there are disks out there that force windows into letting you do this. Google will help.

not free, all versions were shareware
but versions 7 and prior retained full functionality past the 30day trial
