...i don't get why 'busive text, pictures of abducted girls and racism' are fine at work, whereas a small .gif of a woman partial obscured by text is BAD!!!!

straightforward racism tends to result in an outright banning.

Also, posting stuff to test what you can get away with before the mods intervene will probably end up in a banning too, purely for the sheer annoyance factor.

B3ta is not a forum for free speech - it's an internet message board. What you can and can't post is entirely up to the people who run the site - if you don't like it, you are welcome to start your own messageboard somewhere else.

I was not intending to give the impression of any particular 'attitude' other than just mention the way things have tended to work on the board over the years.

I suppose that's the problem with communicating via an impersonal, written medium - people can tend to miss out on your tone and meaning, and take things entirely the wrong way.

For example, I have been reading your posts as, "WHINE WHINE WHINE... WHY IS EVERYBODY PICKING ON ME... IT'S NOT FAIR!!!", but I am sure that's not the case.
