not much of a story, but the Transformers themselves looked absolutely amazing

But I liked to keep to the idea of them looking remotely plausible...

I mean, they actually looked like they could transform from one form to the next, rather than you thinking "HOW THE FUCK COULD A TRUCK TURN INTO THAT, WHERE DID ALL THAT EXTRA METAL COME FROM?!"
