No I bloody didn't.
And I got the big telescope out ( big job ) and acclimatised the lenses. This was after the newspersons told me that the best place in the whole of Britain to see it would be Cheshire which is my back yard. Come 2:30 am this morning and it is overcast and turning foggy. I was fuming.

I briefly saw some
partial coverage around 2:35 but nothing worth setting up the scope, camera and computer for so I just had another beer and sulked off to bed.
