It's actually that sickle cell anaemia protects one from malaria.But given that you don't get malaria in England it's not much use round here. And actually if you read into it, the sickle cell anaemia suseptibility effects people of all ethnicities in any region where malaria is or was prevalent.
So that's just hereditary illnesses....not racial genetics.
