# there's no farmer
no drunk, no mad pensioner directing traffic from the side of the road... I suppose there isn't a postman, which is realistic.

# I mean
electrician I can kind of see... traffic cop, okay, perhaps it's a busy village which needs a bypass... gay biker... some of them might live in rural areas... sailor, on shore leave? in a rural idyl? Well - again - I'd expect them to be more common in an urban setting, but, okay - perhaps he's home to surprise his mum or wife or something. Cowboy? No - I've yet to be in a village with a cowboy in it. Indian Cheif? No - again - not in any village I've frequented. My main point is, some of these, perhaps, could conceivably be found in a village, perhaps even a couple of them in the same village, but all of them? I find that hard to believe; and calling yourself the Village People as if you are representative of people commonly found in villages is one step too far.
