tell me about it.Decimalisation took quite some time and started in 69 but was still going on in 72 ( the transition I mean ) I remember ( or more I remember being told a lot about this ) having to count up the new money for my grandmother at the corner shop and tell her how much it was in real money for the goods. She used to go mental about it all doubling in price.
