Just disagreeing with a mod or enough of the regular board members will do it,you get some crying kitteh representing you, a countdown, and some blurb that basically says 'We are always right, you were of course wrong, do not come back unless you recognise our absolute power over you and all you dare to think in our presence, say your very very sorry, and no complaining about us on the board either or we'll bar you again, OR WORSE!!'
It's basically a patronising threat rubbing your nose in their power to win over any disagreement or criticism. Lovely stuff, obviously, makes them seem completely rational, sane and fair and not at all like some nazi cunt fuck with a secret wish for world domination and a dire need to get laid.
