no i think the scottish picts were the only ones. i dont think there are any true ones left now. welsh irish scots cornish, all celts moved to the isles

that was the whole problem i had with primary school history trying to tell me that hadrian's (and other walls) were built to keep the scots back, when they were in fact built to keep the picts enclosed.

i'm pretty sure the picts were from elsewhere too though. thinking about it though, if you go far enough back, surely at some point britain was attached to the continent and so it proabaly all stems back a very loing way to the point where it's all redundant anyway. so yes. you're original point still stands.
