very , erm
interesting.
Quick TJ to tap the b3ta knowledge pool.
Does anyone here drive a late model ( 2007 on ) Fiat? Either a Grande Punto or Bravo.
We need a small car for a runabout and i can get 26% off a Fiat ( or Alfa Romeo but I'm looking at a 1.2-1.4 eco type car and Alfa is not really the best thing, I'd end up buying a fast hatchback and defeating the object )
I've never been a fan of Fiat but know they are better than when I last drove one.
Anyone here drive one and have any thoughts?

Did I miss a birthing day
celebration? How awful of me. Belated hugs and all that.
It goes well here. Been laid up with man flu but feeling better now.

I wasn't online for it, I was out of the house eating cow and having a cold arse.
Thank you, though.

Almost guaranteed to be more reliable than an Alfa...
but then that too is based on reputation rather than fact. A mate of mine had a nightmare Alfa, but that was probably a 2000ish model.

I had a couple of Alfas
in my boy racer days. They are a lovely enthusiasts car but as you say. Just not terribly reliable. I've already shot my wad on a fantastic looking supercar for this decade and now need a shopping type car as the 2 seater she drives is just not a sensible option to replace with similar due to child baggage.
I love Alfas but it's not an option ( still 26% off is tempting )

do I want a BMW or a Lexus? I get money off them.
I wonder if I get money off the insurance though. Like...all the money off. All of it.

I like Lexus
and would always have one over a Merc.
BMW is always my car of choice and is still the best vehicle in the world IMO. I'm talking 5 series though.

Nice to know.
Fiat have also been dogged with reliability issues but I'm sure that's changing. I'm leaning towards a Bravo as it looks better. I'd rather not buy Fiat at all but in these days of credit crunching I'd be an idiot to not take a 3-5k discount seeing as it is there. ( family employee discount. It also applies to Ducati but I don't think me getting another bike will fit the shopping needs )
