# Do you ever wonder what it must be like to be someone like this guy
or many others who's picture has become a widespread internet joke?

Also recently learnt about this poor fucker: tech.uk.msn.com/news/article.aspx?cp-documentid=14544644 I mean, yeh he was an idiot, but he was also recently divorced and these guys spent a LOT of time and effort to make this happen, and having recently lost his wife and kids by divorce, these guys happily broke his ankle and then ruined his life while he was on the rebound and vulnerable, all is left is to fuck his ex wife and post him the pictures I guess, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's the first account of an internet phenomenon who tops hisself from the 'fame'.

I mean, there's a limit on having a joke at someones expense, surely...

# Fake internet things can go too far!!

But he should've guessed!

# My guess is as he was recently divorced he decided to try 'The Internets'
and like any noob learnt the hard way that not all you see online is what it claims to be.

It's a very steep learning curve, but most of us find this out much less publicly or cruelly.

Also, y'know, rebound and all that, easily led (and possibly not that bright).

Don't get me wrong, tho, I did laugh, but when I dug a bit deeper and found all the stuff the scousers who'd done this had done to this poor bloke PURELY for their own amusement at his expense, and for no good reason neither, and that he's had to move 'cos he's had threats (from folks who mistakenly believed he was still married) and become a total joke to all his mates and such, jesus, poor fucker, it's a bit much just for 'a laugh', innit?

Mind you, I guess a good cautionary tale for the rest of thosse out there who've not yet found their feet online.

# Aye,
but sadly things like this go viral because of the amount of childish tards who use the internets :(

# I've often looked to see if there is a site
which tells you who the victims of internet pics are and their stories

but there doesn't seem to be one

# there are one or two people who have apparently topped themselves as a result of internet/4chan "fame"

# Really!?
Jeez, makes me feel a lot less comfy about posting silly pics of mesen online...

# haha :)
yeh, if you look up "an hero" on encyclopediadramatica, you should get some stories about the internet chat driving people to death.

Did you hear about the guy who topped himself on a live cam? He was apparently goaded on by trolls who were then considered (briefly, I think) partially responsible. I may be making this up, it's been a while since I last read about it.

# I'm not sure I want to know TBH,
I do think about stuff like this, and I've got one of my 'empathic' heads on at the mo so I feel more uncomfortable than usual about stuff like this.

It's like folks who make viruses and/or take great joy in fucking up folk's machines just 'cos they can, I just don't get that neither.

I've been a lot more careful about doing Henry pics since I discovered there was a site online that purports to be from the original guy trying to stop folks using his image, I dunno if it's real or not, like anything online your guess is as good as mine, but I've been more thoughtful about whether something I make with his image could be seen as embarrassing or defamatory since then, 'cos it's never been my intention to do so.
