Does it have random gears glued to the outside?
It's not steampunk without a shitload of them stuck on with no regard to logic or purpose.

I dreamt of owning an airship last night
But later it turned out it was just a wing with a propeller in front. I had to lay flat on my belly on it for it to work. I was the manager of a huge capriciously walled holiday area, with a lake with beaches in its centre and large classic luxury hotels along the sides. The wings didn't work very well when trying to fly up the marble staircases inside the hotels, trying to avoid chandeliers and angry hotel guests who found out I was the owner of it all and they wanted it all for themselves.
