I hate it when you drop something spiralbound
and it comes apart and you don't have a spiral-binder thingy handy. And you have to put it all back together manually. When you only have five minutes before the board meeting and you don't want to look like a spaz.

plastic coils particularly suck
as the plastic quickly gets brittle, and is liable to snap and cut ya
also they just break with repeated use, or tear through the covers
and you have to hard bind

That's one reason I'm dreading going through my archives
I have to digitise nearly 30 years of paperwork for new regulations and some of the old reports are huge and yes spiralbound. I'm currently looking for one of those new-fangled scanners that let you just dump a load of paperwork in and gets on with it. At a bargain price too I don't want much do I!

That sounds like a challenge.
I hope you get a nice hi-speed scanner that auto-munches 100 pages into a nice PDF file with just a couple of mouse clicks.
