aeroplane manufacturers are looking at that kind of thing (and/ or LED screens showing what's going on outside) to replace actual windows. So... yeah.

This is a normal post To be fair, I think that'd be quite cool.
It'd be fun to be able to look out of one "window" of my house in Manchester to see the Amazon, and to look out of another in the same room to see Red Square.

This is a normal post 787 Dreamliners are already using
privacy glass type tech where passengers can adjust the amount of light coming through. Annoying when the crew override it and prevent looking out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooXQUCrGuOU

This is a normal post Yeah: I was on a 787 a few months ago that had that.
Unfortunately, I had an aisle seat, and it seemed a bit rude to lean over the other two people to play with the button.

To make matters worse, the person by the window wanted a different amount of shading from my preferred level. It was intolerable.
