Video refs have always been rejected by both the players and their clubs
The whole thing's way, WAY out of control. There's too much money involved for there to be any changes. I think refs should be the law on the pitch, no ifs buts or maybes, dissent of any kind should equal an immediate red card, a two-month ban and loss of salary - but as long as we lionise these players and place them above/out of the constraints of normal behaviour and their paymasters support them even when they're blatantly in the wrong, the game will continue to fester.

I've always loved the game (played since I was 5)
But this element is utter pish. But it'll continue if the culprits aren't deterred somehow. You can get red/yellow cards overturned after a match. Surely the opposite should be available for these big jessies. Slap a two-month ban on top of that and you'll start to see results, I think.
