People think they see wild animals at zoo's, they don't, they just see illustrations of wild animals. Don't even get me started on White Tigers!

I'm in 2 minds about zoos
When I was a young child my mind was blown when I went to the zoo. But, when I was older I went to a zoo in Switzerland and there was an elephant, on his own, just smacking his head against a concrete wall. Over and over again. I've never been to a zoo since.

I struggle with the morality of it.
..seeing as My uncle is/was a Lion trainer, and I grew up with circus animals around his house, in the 70's.
Having a lion sit on your lap is quite an experience, when you're six, as is playing with them.
On balance, I do think their time as an 'act' is past, though.
