This is a normal post God knows
probably because they think Radiohead fans will want something 'arty'.
I was a huge fan as well, up until a few years ago. Now I just see a bunch of people up their own arses.
I mean, these are real life people who think they're above others, and lets be honest, they haven't released a decent album for a long time.
And it's not like their anything special, it's just pop music. If they did a full on classical amazing something I'll eat my hat, but for a bunch of pop musicians, get over yourselves.
*sigh

This is a normal post Just don't describe it as 'rock' :D
I thought that was OK until he started fannying on about Talking Heads.
He talks like an artist, rather than a musician, and that's always a bit grating.
But he is good at what he does, and has passion for it. I like them and sometimes bands put out shit music, but then you find the stuff you like and listen to it.
hey, at least he isn't bono.

Ain't that the truth. Yeah, don't get me wrong, I still like a good few albums of theirs, but if he keeps up
this crap I think he's about to become the new bono, destroying any
cred they had. The whole artist thing is bullshit if you make pop music.
Popular music.
If he did like he talks, he'd be making other music, not pop.
Radiohead could have been great, but he spoilt it for me.

This is a normal post I liked In Rainbows
It seemed a lot less pretentious and impenetrable than the guff that filled everything since OK Computer (Did anyone actually like Hail to the Thief?).

King of Limbs can't be shoved far enough up Thom Yorke's backside for my liking though.

This is a normal post King of Limbs
Is a crap album, it seems all he does is his whining singing voice these days. And the songs are as dull as fuck. That along with Thom's bullshit, they can fuck off.

This is a normal post Yep I loved Hail To The Thief, and everything up to King Of Limbs
I don't see why they should have to keep making stadium rock just to keep people happy. He clearly writes music as a genuine way to express himself, which I think is super. If you don't like the new stuff, then don't buy it. It's all good baby.

Where I End And You Begin is a great track. Thought that Kid A and Amnesiac were a little impenetrable but I'd rather people trying to stretch the boundaries (fnarr) than just release the same old schlock album after album. Muse, I'm talking to you here.

This is a normal post OK, so is that the key track to unlock these albums then?
There must be one somewhere on one of them (Kid A, Amnesiac, HTTT) that will act as a way in.

I do love the first two, but Kid A took me years to love. Try Pyramid Song, Optimistic, the two Morning Bells. it might actually be worth trying the live album I Might be Wrong: the live versions of some of these songs are ace. This applies to Kid A and Amnesiac; never got into HTTT.

This is a normal post Cheers,
will have another go. Maybe having ignored them for the last five or so years they'll make more sense to me.
