This is a normal post I realise genre labels are generally daft anway
But I've never been able to figure out 'indie' when people say that's the genre they like.

At least it makes me less irrationally annoyed than 'R&B'.

but yeah to me Indie still covers everything from weird bontempi organs in a bucket of vomit to thrash metal
