They can kind of do what they want
because they shit money. I've been to their London offices a few times and the canteen (which is free) is fantastic. If they'd ever employ someone like me I'd probably work there.
I suppose, really, being the sort of person who'd go and work for a company because they had good free lunches is why I'm not the sort of person they'd employ.

Having spoken to a couple of people who work there
The working hours are LUDICROUS. They need to bribe the staff like that to convince them its a good place to work because the cost is any hope of a normal life.

I used to work in an office
That had a multicoloured "Wendy House" for adults to encourage creativity.
Nobody ever fucking set foot in it.
