This is a link post Another horrible gas guzzler on the way

This is a normal post I'm really not sure about this one
I like what ford did with the Mustang, and what whoever it was did with the camaro. Both of them seemed to hang on to the right elements of the originals, but this one just seems to be a little on the tame/safe side, whereas the original stingray was a fairly outrageous looking car.

This is a normal post I expect there'll be a range of lairier and scarier ones
which will probably look a bit more edgy. It's still olde worlde underneath, for the second time in a row they have developed a brand new single cam, 2 valve per cylinder engine, and it has transverse leaf-springs instead of coil-overs.

I bet it is a total hoot to drive (in America). Might get 35mpg based on the previous ones.

I don't like the back lights yet though.

This is a normal post Yep
The Mustang for example is a solid rear axle with leaf springs, unless you pay megabucks for a Roush converted one, but by then, you should have just bought a Corvette.

The Vette does have independent rear suspension, and has done since the 60s I think, but since the 5th generation it's had a weird composite leaf spring which goes from one side to the other.

Funnily though the Corvette has been one of the most successful cars in endurance racing in the last 10 years, it's been highly developed and that old push-rod lump just keeps on going.

I'm also glad to see the new one has even more electronics that won't work. :P

This is a normal post So we have lots of pretty, static pictures.
I wouldn't be surprised if the next headline reads "American Muscle car in Gutless Shocker".
A friend of mine hired on of those Mustangs when he was in Florida and said that they look and sound really great, but when you put your foot down, they're largely pointless.
They do look rather nice though.

Probably got a V-6 version. The V-8 GT is one of the quickest cars for the money on the market.
All GM products are varying levels of shit, in my experience. Though their pickups aren't too bad.

This is a normal post I think it looks rather nice, if a bit too much like that recent Ferarri
Shame they didnt make it echo the 60s stingray rather than the 80s one, and even then it looks a bit too similar to the other modern corvettes.

Mind you - i cant design a car to save my life so what do i know?
