It's very well-known
It was on telly, and terrified a generation. It's etched onto the consciousness for those of us of a certain age, I think. It gets mentioned here on b3ta occasionally.
It's not a bad movie; little storyline, interesting for the mostly reasonably credible depictions of a nuclear war, but it's depressing as hell.
