Was it a surprise his work wasn't up to scratch?Had he received regular feedback and guidance? Was it documented? Because you see, if it wasn't done properly he may have legal comeback. The three month rule mightn't apply if his treatment and training were substandard. He wouldn't get the job back but an out of court settlement could be possible. Was he in a union during his time there?
