Two moments - both at music festivals, one not
First at V98, slightly drunk, lying on my back staring up at a clear sky watching satellites fly past.

Second at Glastonbury 2003 - Walking into the bustling markets at night... Hearing the music, seeing all the people and just feeling pretty damned amazing.

Third - St Kilda sunset when I went to Melbourne... Looking across the bay and watching the sun come down half way through the most amazing holiday ever.

Also - the day I went to get my degree result. I was more nervous than I've ever been, had a couple of beers to calm me down but they gave me wind. Had read a horroscope which said 'it seems all your hard work is not paying off'. I was fully expecting a 3rd and had really tried hard to drag myself up to a 2:2... Called into the office I sat down and they went through my marks one by one... Finally the head lecturer said 'you got a 2:2' and I jumped up, shook his arm, molestged the woman who was in there.... Walked out, turned to my mate and shouted 'Fucking yes!!! 2:2!!!'. Graduating in Liverpool Cathedral and seeing tears in my dad's eyes was probably the most proud of myself I've ever been. The first in our family to get a degree.


Had a tear in my eye after reading chairman_of_the_peoples_democratic_republic_of_birmingham's story... That's exactly how I was born!
