Waking up on the first day of being marriedAs some of you may know, mother inferior and I are married.
The wedding and reception had been lovely the night before but it was waking up on the first morning of matrimony that was special.
We'd stayed the night in a beautiful country hotel. The view out of the window was one of fields, hedges and country lanes. The sun's rays broke through a gap in the curtain and we'd set a radio alarm for breakfast. The alarm went off and we were gently woken to the tune of "Morning has broken".
