This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

A couple of weeks ago
I finished Tomb Raider for the umpteenth time. However, it's simply not as thrilling as it was when I first played it 12 years ago which involved a lot of edging around corners and such.

I then started it again and made up a couple of challaneges. I managed to get through the first level (Caves) without firing a single shot. That's quite a few bats, wolves and a bear to outrun. I then went for the speed challenge, and finished that same level in 4:27.

I'll give it maybe 18 months and then I'll probably dig it out again.

I just did the same thing with TR2, which is my favourite of the series. I play it every 6 months or so. I also got half way through The Last Revelation for the 3rd time and got bored and gave up. Even though it looks great and the plot is pretty strong, there's just nothing quite so gripping about it.

I'm not really a games person but ....
TR is one of the few games I've become obssessed with and have sat up to all hours because I couldn't put it down. Another is Doom which I've just bought for my iPhone and am enjoying all over again. Hope they do TR and TR2 for iPhone soon too.
