Christ on a bike, I feel like a stick in the mud here
Although I've had to wait in many, many long automated queues to get through, every person I've ever spoken to in a call centre has been unfailingly polite and helpful. It's all very confusing.

Me too. They haven't necessarily solved the problem, but I've never been left feeling quite as reamed as some of the poor sods on here.

Try..
Calling BTs 'customer service department' and ask them to set up a direct debit on your HomeHub / Broadband account..

Or get them to sort out your phone because it's 'buzzing' - a common problem with their 'state of the art homehub equipment'

BT are the single most useless company I have ever dealt with. Go on, give them a call. I can guarantee you'll be slamming your head into inanimate objects within a matter of minutes...
