Splendid!When I was a young uni student I held a job in a restuarant. New Year's Eve we were stuffed to the gills with drunken revellers and the champers was a popular choice from the wine list. So much so that it was quite often the case that bottles would come back to the kitchen unfinished. Forbidden to drink the stuff we scullery rats did the next best thing: stockpiled the leftovers and used it to do the last of the washing up at the end of the evening.
