This is a question The Credit Crunch

Did you score a bargain in Woolworths?
Meet someone nice in the queue to withdraw your 10p from Northern Rock?
Get made redundant from the job you hated enough to spend all day on b3ta?

How has the credit crunch affected you?

yeah
i had read that about the spaying as well. however, having a tom cat pissing everywhere wouldn't be acceptable.. I'm not sure what age they start spraying at, but i assume it would be within a year old. I will ask at the vets, see what they say.

The ones we are after are from a proper breeder, expensive, but probably worth it!

Maine Coons rock
Meet Mrs Guts

Not really knowing a huge amount about them- we'd only had mogs prior to this- before getting her from a rescue centre (£60- very credit crunch friendly) she took a little getting used to. She's a big girl and has the aerodynamics and agility of a transit van which can be problematic if she fancies "going high." She does indeed follow you round and likes to be with you were possible- keyboards are a particular favourite. She is bloody noisy- meows, warbles, chirrups and beeps (yes beeps) are all in the retinue.

We live in a cul de sac so her road sense has never been extensively tested but it doesn't seem bad. She's allowed out whenever she wants (although this required a dog flap to be fitted) and doesn't seem to go too far- I've heard that males can be a bit more wayward though. She has fought other cats though- she's been undamaged but I've forked out to repair the loser.

Do it- you won't regret it.

I like her!
Does she have any friends looking for a home?

The bigger the cat, the better.
