This is a question Creepy!

Smash Monkey asks: "what's the creepiest thing you've seen, heard or felt? What has sent shivers running up your spine and skidmarks running up your undercrackers? Tell us, we'll make it all better"

This used to shit me up something rotten when I was very young

And it just gave me another shiver because I'd never noticed before someone in the distance at about 0:31.

<shudders>

Creepy indeed
I saw a couple of school films like that. One was about a kid who loved football and his mates all used to use the railway line as a short cut on the way to and from school. Despite parental warning, the one time he did it he got his football boots stuck and the train came along and we assume cut his legs off. The end was him sitting in a wheelchair with a blanket over his "stumps" and the camera zooms in on his boots hanging on the back of the door. Scared me off football for ever...! :P

Ooh! Really creepy.
We had one in school with these kids playing on train tracks. One of them switched the track, so the train took the wrong bend, just as another kid jumped from the train they were playing on. One train hit the other and oh hell I'm gonna have nightmares tonight. I can still see that little girls legs bending wrong.

I was told at uni that
"There is so much research that proves fear appeals do not work"
These PSAs have always struck me as a little cruel...
