This is a question Creepy!

Smash Monkey asks: "what's the creepiest thing you've seen, heard or felt? What has sent shivers running up your spine and skidmarks running up your undercrackers? Tell us, we'll make it all better"

Fistulas.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fistula

Seriously, Fistulas. They creep me the fuck out. Read and weep, my friends. Read and weep tears through the fistula in your face.

If you're really brave, google image "fistula" with safe search off. Claw your eyes from your skulls and pray to your god that he sends you a stroke to kill the part of your brain that retains the memory of fistulas seen.

That sucks
Any point in seeking second opinion? Hope they've offered appropriate support.

i've been told
that i'm being referred to a reconstructive surgeon who specialises in this kind of thing.
was told not to hold out much hope, though.

Ive had one for the last year
it was on my stomach. Truly horrible thing to have to live with. Had surgery 2 weeks ago to fix it, and now finally feel like Im getting my life back. Bad luck yours cant be fixed, but Id definately get another opinion.

had 5 operations on it
none have worked. due to the amount of scar tissue, i've been told by 2 different specialists that the reconstructive surgery option is my only - and very slim - chance.

i'm thinking...
Count Fist-u-lass.

An undead yorkshireman in a cape with slicked back hair and a pocket full of lubricant.

Soothe your poor eyes
with a calming image of a teratocarcinoma.

For the wary, this is a type of cancer that for some reason undergoes an appalling parody of the processes that produce the human body. Now, all organs - even abortive attempts at them - look roughly the same, like, well, lumps of flesh...so it's the cancerous attempts at teeth and fingernails that really stand out.

I kid you not
When I was a kid from the age of around 7-10 I had this

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anal_fistula

Most miserable 3 years of undiagnosed pain ever.
