This is a question Customers from Hell

The customer is always right. And yet, as 'listentomyopinion' writes, this is utter bollocks.

Tell us of the customers who were wrong, wrong, wrong but you still had to smile at (if only to take their money.)

McD's
Having now spent a year at this hellhole I have devised the following rules for customers from hell to follow:
1) Asking for McChicken McNuggets Mclarge McFries and a McShake is neither clever nor funny nor original. The amount of times we serve people who puncuate their speech with "MC's" who think they are the first to have done so is suprisingly high.
2) Bah-Bah-Bah-Bah-Bahing us and then demanding free food when we don't reply "I'm loving it" will not work. Whoever started this myth has a lot to answer for, as we have on average 10% of all customers trying this stunt and getting angry when they find out it's not true.
3) Asking for a "Large Zinger meal" or a "Medium Whopper meal" is old and been done 1000's of times before.
4) Ask for your burger without pickle if you don't like it, we don't mind cooking it like that. We much prefer it to having to pick up your discarded pickles from the car park, from tables, chairs even urinials.

Pickles
I had a buddy I served in the Marines with. EVERY time we went to McDonalds he would remove his pickle and toss it up to stick it to the ceiling.

THis was a MARINE CORPS OFFICER. I ate three times with him when he did this and one last time when I forgot about what an arse he is.

I know you dont work in the States, but I apologize on behalf of ALL the idiots that discard their pickles wherever they choose.

What is it with pickles?
I actually actively enjoy the pickles in a McBurger. Almost everyone else I know dissects the burger and carefully removes the pickle before eating the rest.

Pickles are wonderful!
And you forgot when people throw them at the windows!

I like the pickles too
but I have done the other 3 mentioned points. Sorry.

May have been hammered at the time

I confuse Maccy D's staff
on the once a year outing to junk food central, I ask for two hamburger Happy Meals, but without the burgers. Yes, just a bun. Yes, really, two plain buns. Oh, and two fruit bags. Yes, they eat fruit. To drink? Water, thanks.

They look at me like I'm a child molester. Actually, the kids don't really want the Happy Meal, they just want the toys! But they won't give you the toys without the Happy Meal as well (I asked!)

2)
I'd probably just give the customer a blank look and stare at them until they give up trying to explain. Really, now...
