Speaking of HellI'm apparently the "Computer Whizz" where I work, which I think stems from the fact that I once told a coworker that an optical mouse doesn't work on a shiny surface. Anyway, a few weeks ago an old lady asked me for help in scanning a document. She was with a friend and they both sat back and watched as I scanned some nondescript photo and attached it to an email for her. I wasn't really listening to what they were saying until I heard the following:
"'Ere, ain't he quick on that computer!"
"Aye. I bet he sold his soul to satan."

It's astounding how easy it is to be a guru......when no-one around you knows what they're doing. I became site administrator once because I knew how to rename a folder in Windows.
