Or fresh orange..Speaking of milk, I once put fresh milk in a kettle, in some lazy attempt to warm myself up following a very frosty winter morning, but without all the effort of waiting ages by using a pan. At work, in the office...
After an hour of cleaning up the resulting mess, I just kept my mouth shut and said nothing about it, totally forgot about it eventually, until another worker came in and chucked the kettle away because it made her drink 'taste funny'
It really is not a good idea.
