And, did you zip?Once you'd recovered, did you successfully manage to slide down the washing line? Or did it break, leaving you in an undignified heap on the floor?

Neither unfortunately. I just ran in crying like a little girl (which of course is what I was), whereupon my mother gave me a clip round the ear for being stupid.
Rather an undignified end to a magnificent venture I feel.
