This is a question DIY disasters

I just can't do power tools. They always fly out of control and end up embedded somewhere they shouldn't. I've no idea how I've still got all the appendages I was born with.

Add to that the fact that nothing ends up square, able to support weight or free of sticking-out sharp bits and you can see why I try to avoid DIY.

Tell us of your own DIY disasters.

I'm not sure I'd want to do it, myself.

Yep
some music students have far too much time on their hands. This book is legendary amongst music geeks.

Wagner studies
Anyone who has studied music at Uni tends to do at least one Wagner course. And therefore this book is one of the first ones we have to go out and buy. Because it's such a big, seminal work, you have to read it before the course starts.

Personally, I prefer his early operas and Parsifal to the Ring Cycle.
