This is a question DIY Surgery

Majoringram tells us: I once had a wart on my hand and went to the doc to get it frozen. It hurt, lots. Instead of having to go back for more, I got my trusty rambo knife and cut the thing off. Three years later, and not even a scar!

One of the most useful lessons I've learned in life;
You might as well just take out your own stitches, it's hardly rocket science and you feel like a div taking the day off to go into hospital to have it done.

and it makes you feel like a man.....

better yet, take the day off SAYING you're going into hospital to have it done, remove the stitches yourself at home, and relax the rest of the day

A friend ended up doing that
But that was because she went to the hospital and they said the nurse at her GP surgery had to do it. The GP surgery said the hospital had to do it etc. She said fuck it I'll do it myself.

Absolutely
The only time somebody else removed stitches from me was when the stitches were on the back of my shoulder and I couldn't reach.
I got my friend to do it. He sawed them off with a steak knife as he didn't have scissors small enough.
