This is a question Drunk Parents

Watching the old man swing home from the pub and start arguing with Newsnight can be either funny, slightly unnerving or just plain terrifying. Tell us about daft things parents have done while they've been in their cups.

My mum, Mrs Vagabond and I spent a pleasant evening outside at the picnic table, drinking a couple of bottles of wine and chatting.
Mum got up to go in for a pee, and walked straight - proper borderline nose-breaking stuff - into the very closed French windows.

You don't need to be pished to do this. I did it yesterday at my insurance office.

No one saw it though except maybe on CCTV so immediate embarrassment was avoided but expect to see me on You Tube sometime soon.

I went all the way to California to do that
on my son's balcony door, leaving a clear face-print. Son and daughter thought it was hilarious.

Vagabond?
Any crazy stories from your stepmum archive? Or was she not much of a drinker?

By the sound of it she didn't need to drink to be an arsehole.

Thankfully she didn't actually drink that much.
God only knows what would have happened if she did.

I'm in a fluffy place at the moment, though, because my mum's lovely - I'm going to 'phone her tonight and tell her.

Lots of scary nakedness and shouting no doubt. At least you were spared this....

My sister in law did this - and left an imprint of her face in makeup on the glass

I like to do this to the windows of Specsavers
and after making enough of a show of trying "the doors", I'll turn to the wife and loudly proclaim "They're shut! We'll have to come back another day!".

She's so used to my Mr Magoo antics that she now does a sterling job of ignoring me.

I still find it funny every time.
