On the bus.I brought a return ticket. Then when I got to my stop I promptly thanked the driver and chucked it in the bin.
This isn't the first time.

i've done thatloads of times on the tube. it's surprisingly hard to force your way through the barriers, which don't want to open until you have retrieved your return ticket all nice and ready for the way home.
i am an idiot.
