False EconomiesSometimes the cheapest option isn't the right one. I fondly remember my neighbours going to a well-known catalogue-based store and buying the cheapest lawnmower they stocked. I thought all phone manufacturers were going to use the same port type for charging/connecting?I guess Apple missed that memo...
That said, my phones, tablet, and Kindle all work via micro USB.
Don't get me wrong, I like Apple products - used to use various models in the Macintosh range for design work, but IMO anything in the range beginning with 'i' denotes 'idiot'.

I thought this also, I kind of have high hopes the next iteration of the iPhone will have micro USBSaying that though i have a new Nexus and that seems dodgy charging too...perhaps its just me.
