This is a question Famous people I hate

Michael McIntyre, says our glorious leader. Everyone loves Michael McIntyre. Even the Daily Mail loves Michael McIntyre. Therefore, he must be a git. Who gets on your nerves?

Hint: A list of names, possibly including the words 'Katie Price' and 'Nuff said' does not an interesting answer make

Queen
Or, at least, the two remaining, original members of Queen; Roger Taylor and Brian May.

Freddie Mercury was a remarkable front man and tremendous performer making Queen a great band, most especially live. Unfortunately, Queen died when Freddie Merury died, or at least should have. The tribute concert should have been a final farewell, but no, Messrs. Taylor and May keep dragging it on. At least John Deacon has the decency to recognise when something's over.

As for 'We Will Rock You', although a lot of the blame has to be left at the door of Ben Elton for the utter crassness of a story based around some shite about Gallileo and the Bohemians battling against the Killer Queen, there they are again, Taylor and May, raking over the coals for a couple of extra shekels.

Please just fuck off, both of you.

The problem with Freddie Mercury
is that he will be known by "the great showman/performer" cliche. People seem to forget/discard the fact that he was a great musician first and foremost.

But I like Brian May, he wrote '39 and appears on Sky at Night.

Agreed
Freddie was a lot more than just a showman, but it still doesn't change the fact that he was the band and now he's gone, it's a pale imitation of what it once was. Some things should be allowed to die with dignity.

oh and also
people who are fans of Queen seem to take offence if you suggest that some songs aren't as good as others.

I am a big Queen fan, but I acknowledge that quite a bit of stuff is extremely 'naff'
i.e. the 'Hot Space' album and Bohemian Rhapsody - there, I said it. It really isn't all that.

Wank
That's what Queen are. I never understood the flamboyance of it all. I'm happy to accept that there were some damn fine songs (those off Highlander for example) but in general they were, in my opinion, wank.

Wank Wank Wank.

And I always thought Freddie was a wanker as well.

And Bryan; poodle haired wanker.

and John Deacon
is only 2 letters away from Joey Deacon.

I think so little of Queen
that I only know of Freddy the Bummer and Bryan the Poodle.

Freddy had a brilliant voice but I really don't like Queen.

Aah, but the theme tune to the Ford advert was ace though wasnt it?

To be fair, Queen aren't alone in this
Countless other bands do 'our-pension-funds-aren't-doing-as-well-as-expected' comeback tours, with half the original line up due to death / creative differences / criminal convictions.

The biggest current piss-takers are Yes, with Rick Wakeman's son on keyboards and a lead singer out of a fucking Canadian tribute act they saw on YouTube.

Queen produced inoffensive and catchy rock tunes in their heyday and had a frontman who was exponentially better than most bands', but they'll keep going until Brian loses his hair and Anita stops lending him hers.

the first time i heard bohemian rhapsody
i was 3 years old. i've been a huge queen fan ever since. however, i agree that queen died when freddie mercury did.

Freddie was, and always will be, a musical god,
no questions- immensely talented and hugely charismatic, to many he was Queen but without the others Queen would not have been as successful.

Brian May is a superb guitarist, up there with Knopfler and Clapton, and could easily make a second fortune, if he chose to carry on.

But when Freddie went, Queen should have been laid gently to rest alongside him, to be enjoyed via recording only.

And not to be slaughtered in shitty West End plays or by TV 'talent' show dross.

I
fuckin hate Queen. All of them. Never rated Freddie as a singer, Brian May is vastly overrated...ugh. And Bohemian Rhapsody is the most THE MOST overblown piece of pseudo intellectaul mumbo-jumbo I have ever heard.

And "We Will Rock You", sounds like a rip off of 2112...
