Unless you're some sort of cross dressing weirdo,you should have plenty of pockets, in which to store assorted items of varying sizes. Granted, you won't be wearing your jacket in summer, but Christmas is in winter.
Invest in a pair of cargo pants, if you really must.
To be honest, I sort of agree with you, but where's the fun in that?
