similar psychology to...the white van with "i wish my wife was this dirty" finger-written on the back door with "she is" or "your mum is" underneath in a different hand...

Aha!Similarly again, I worked with a guy who had 'no tools are left in this van overnight' on the back of his work van. He says someone broke in and left a note saying 'just checking'.
