I've been trying to debunk this myth for years.
I'm a sexy intelligent lady with huge norks who likes dirt in bed; I've been going out with a sweet lovely nerd boy who has never pretended to be anything different for nearly 4 years now. Before him I was miserable for the last 8 years with idiot cool boys as that was all I found.
