This is a question Turning into your parents

Unable to hold back the genetic tide, I find myself gardening in my carpet slippers, asking for a knife and fork in McDonalds and agreeing with the Daily Telegraph. I'm beyond help - what about you?

Thanks to b3th for the suggestion

Don't worry, you're not alone.
I'm 18 and I feel exactly the same way.

I've always gotten along better with people older than me, and at the moment I absolutely despair of most others my age as they seem to be complete and utter idiots. From what you say, teenagers seem to follow the same stereotypes on both sides of the world.

I haven't reached the tutting and sighing stage though...yet.

I've been sighing for years.
and I get the occasional urge to facepalm when I see some things.

I'm a twenty one year old who just wishes everyone could be *sensible*

Sigh...
